Gazebo Gang: Our Forever Sunrise
Organized by Luquado with Gazebo Gang Admin
The year is approaching its end. Every sunset comes to sunrise, every night brings day, and every darkness inexorably leads to light. In this Gazebo Gang event, performers are strongly encouraged to interpret that opening prompt. What does the transition from dark to light mean to you? Do you welcome the kiss of sunlight in the morning, bringing warmth and energy to the Earth, energized for the day to come? Or, do you relish and thrive in the night, with its serene beauty and glittering stars, with the rise of the Sun meaning the calm is broken? This second-to-last monthly Gazebo Gang event with the current organization (stay tuned for what's next, BTW!) is also intended to connect to what I hope will be a more expansive final event in December, Our Endless Tomorrow, where performers will be encouraged to musically revisit & reflect on their year, but also attempt something new -- to explore their endless tomorrow and all its boundless potential. Welcome to the Gazebo.
